Synopsis
Thoughts often influence our lives and the lives of others when shared. This was the purpose behind ‘Just Thinking,’ the new book from author CJ Dakota. In his debut, he shares a collection of essays that ponder everyday topics viewed against the profound truths found in the Bible. From subjects that cover sound reasoning and logic, labeling people, whether all sin is the same, progressive morality and the belief in self, CJ approaches each topic from the viewpoint of a man who was once on the other side of the truth. With the belief that a single word can be life-altering, CJ Dakota put pen to paper in hopes of illuminating the truth as well as exposing the schemes of Satan to impact the lives of others, much as his life had been impacted by the Word of God.
About the Author
My life has been a journey from atheism to a God-fearing believer of Christ. I had my pre-
salvation worldview ripped apart by God. I have learned so much over the years, and it is only a
small fraction in the scheme of things. That knowledge should keep all of us humble and willing
to learn.
I hope this book causes believers to understand that we can be easily deceived and always be
on guard against that weakness. There is only one truth and that is Christ. I have been very
blessed for I haven’t had too many difficulties in my life. And the few that I have, I realize that
overcoming trials brings strength and that is a blessing as well.
I pray that this book is my first of many for I have had numerous eye-opening episodes in my
life.
